Dear Vudes and Tus,
I was playing catch with my best friend's little sister's teacher's husband's step-son last Shabbos. Things began to get a bit intense and we had a non-drop streak of 4 going. I told him to go long for the next pass, and he sprinted a whole 2 Amot. I didn't think I could possibly throw it that distance, but my rocket of an arm surprised me. I accidentally threw the ball 4 Amot instead! How wild is that!? It probably had something to do with my fresh Air Monarchs. Anyways, the ball hit my slave in the head before falling into a passerby's mouth and choking him to death. I kinda enjoyed that sensation, but what am I obligated in?
Sincerely,
UnrestrictedFirearm
Dear Firearm,
I think you need to be careful with that arm of yours. 4 Amot is a crazy distance and I don't know what kinda milk you've been drinking but we sure would like some. Just kidding. Haha. Lol. But seriously. You for sure have to pay for the damages caused, but not the 4 other categories of payment mentioned in a previous post. Even though it was on Shabbos, you didn't do it mindfully, so you're not obligated in that. With regards to the guy you killed, you didn't stalk him, so you are only obligated BiShogeg. Since we're assuming that you didn't mean to kill your best friend's little sister's teacher's husband's step-son, we're gonna let you have Galut, because you threw the ball that far by accident and deserve the protection. And as for your slave, the same argument applies as stated in our post titled "Letter from Daddy".
Beware of steroids!
Vudes and Tus
